TCI Express Listing

Dear Readers,

Congratulations !!! finally your patience paid off and TCI Express got listed. Some of the our readers had got the first experience of demerger process. Still we are receiving several comments about buy or sell. Both companies are having very good growth potential so need to hold at least for 3-4 years to get decent return. TCI was suggested at 250 and it went above 350 during demerger. Those who bought near 250 are in profit around Rs 100 per share of TCI and those bought around 350 are in no profit no loss. Those who are willing to buy now, can buy it with expected gain around 50% in next 2 years. Finalization of GST bill is still under process and some delay is possible due to political non cooperation. Company management is fully confident on future growth prospectus and it has negligible impact of demonetisation or GST delay.

What would be the fair value of TCI Express? At 299 is it over valued or fairly priced?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Dear Ma'am,

Is my calculation correct or where I am making mistake ?
    e.g. Cost Price - TCI - 10 shares at 250 = Rs.2500
    Current Price - TCI - 10 shares, at 150 = Rs. 1500 & TCI Express - 5 shares at 300 = Rs.1500
    Total Current Price = Rs.1500 + Rs.1500 = Rs.3000
Net Profit on original TCI before demerger = 3000-2500 = 500 = Rs.50 per share

  84. Madamji, my father is a retired gov employee and he is looking for regular cash flow. What's your opinion on investing his funds in high dividend yielding stocks like NMDC and Coal India. I wish to have your feedback before doing anything. Some of my friends told me stock market is too risky for pensioners. Pl advice.

    1. Definitely stock market investment is subjected to significant risk. If right stock bought at right time and in right quantity at right price than there is no risk but very good gain is certain.

Not tracking above mentioned large cap stocks

  88. Dolly Ji,

Why do you think criminal case by Shree Pshkar on Hatsun (India) is not an impact on Shree Pushkar even for next feq qtrs?

Considering Hatsun is the largest importer of Shree Pushkar.

    Any rationale?

  90. Hi Mam,
Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

Mam need your views regarding PM Modi hint regarding long term capital gains tax increase which might happen in coming budget. This might cause more outflow of FIIs and if DIIs sell then there might be deep correction of our markets.
Should we arrange any cash to invest in this situation.
    Your valuable views please.

  91. Dear Dolly Maam,

If i analyses backdated news/ disclosures by Cosmo films, the only value creating News I can find is:

    http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/indl-goods/svs/paper-/-wood-/-glass/-plastic/-marbles/cosmo-films-to-invest-rs-220-crore-on-gujarat-maharashtra-plants-expansion/articleshow/49615616.cms

Also, I am disappointed why such a disclosure was never submitted to BSE?

    So my qts is:

    1) Is this the news (Capacity expansion) with high demand visibility a trigger to focus on Cosmo Films? If not what else?

    2) Do you think I am wrong to say that its obligation of company to submit all value enhancing news to BSE even before it goes to media.
