Q1 RESULTS UPDATE

Dear Readers,

We have received the Q1 results for all stocks suggested in this blog. Congratulations to all the blog readers who has bought the stocks on recommendation price or bought below recommendation price. All stocks has given decent return in short period as given in stock score card.

Most of the stocks went down (0% to - 31%) after recommendation. Investors has got enough chance to add at much lower level. Those who bought at lower level has gained more than 100%. It means they have got the better deal and bought the asset (stocks) at discount. Reason behind discussing above is that most of the readers started buying the stock when stock price already gone up more than 50% from lowest level. Last week market corrected significantly and some of the stock price came down sharply and panic started with stress.

Stock market is all about buying at low and selling at high and only 20% investors following this rule are the gainers. Remaining 80% are buying at high and selling at low are the looser. After analyzing thousands of comments posted on this blog and g+ I still feel that there is lack of confidence, knowledge and patience in our reader's group. I have the hope and confident that you will become successful investors and also help your friends to be successful.

Waterbase Q1 Result

Company has shown YoY growth 18% in top and 24% in bottom line. It is in line with market expectation. Feed capacity addition and seed (Hatcheries) business will start in coming Q2 and Q3 respectively. Price fluctuation after Q1 results mainly due to profit booking because stock has moved from 45 to 120 in last 3 months with 166% net gain. Strictly hold for long term.

Pondy Oxides Q1 Result

Company has shown good growth in top and bottom line. It will improve further in coming quarters with increase in capacity utilization of new plant. Hold for better gain.

DTIL Q1 Result

Company has published standalone result with EPS 5.12 which is good by seeing the slight delay in monsoon and most of its pears like Mcleod and Jayshree tea has posted loss in Q1. The main business growth will come from Malavi Africa and Indian tea retail business in coming quarters. Company is expanding its plantation area for Tea and Macadamia and it will generate consistent revenue for long term. Nothing to worry about decrease in promoters share holding because YVES LOMBARD ASSET MANAGEMENT AG is an foreign investor exiting from DTIL and DPL. Strictly hold for long term.

Xpro India Q1 Result

It has shown flat results for Q1. Dielectric film business will grow with time. In manufacturing field it is time taking process to build the customer base. Other business of the company  thermoplastic co-extruded sheets and BOPP films has not performed well because of slow economic growth. Hopefully it will perform better with change in economic condition in the country. Sudden fall in stock price because of poor results and profit booking after sharp rise from 30 to 74 in just 2 months. Hold for long term.

JK Agri Q1 Result

Company has posted good results because if we see the price capping on BT cotton seed and delayed monsoon has effected very severely to its peer companies like Monsanto and Kaveri seed. In such conditions JK Agri has given far better results than its pears. This R&D company is in final stage of launching new products in the market before next season. Strictly hold for long term and add more after Q3.

      I am now confused.

You are saying add more when price fall then next statement if complete market is down thrn wait.

But when6the market is down then only price will fall. Both are cause and effect. Then when to add more and when to wait?

    3. If market start crashing continuously than you have to wait and watch other wise you can add in small quantities.

  28. Hello Mam,

I want your view on 1 situation...

If a company is expanding its business & growing at decent growth rate(>30)..and if the expansion depends on a combination of equity and debt instruments that include issue of fresh equity shares, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and fixed deposits...

Should we invest in such company where we know that equity dilution is going to happen..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. All big companies in the world have expanded their business through above mentioned methods but honesty of the promoter is important not the debt.

If the business is expanding in same ration than equity dilution will not effect on stock price.

      Delete
    2. Dolly Ji,

      With respect to above question!

Along with low equity base do you also see how many outstanding shares are there? I mean does the no of shares matter?

Because a lower no of shares will show high increase or decrease in form of EPS. Does it really matter?

Or just the size of equity and thr total capital both should be lower?

      Delete
    3. Ultimately stock price depend upon EPS and dividend and both depend upon total equity base.

      Delete
    4. Dear Dolly Ji,

I am sorry, still not got the answer. May be you already replied but I could not understand.

So, if EPS and Divident move prices at least in shortrun then - >

      1) Even along with Lower Equity Base Lower Number of outstanding shares are very important then only PER SHARE basis the impact of EPS / Divident will be HIGH to ultimately reflect in Stock Price.

      Is this correct Statement?

      2) Also, if Equity base being small is of importance then if a Company generate decent return on Equity and high EPS and company has 60-40 Debt- Equity Then also you will like that company?

Because the Equity Base is small, still EPS is high because company is using the capital efficiently and generating Decent returns.

      3) Bytheway, by equity base you meant the "Paidup Equity" + All Reserves & Surpluses ?

I asked below queries to Company secretary of Manali petro. ltd. but thy refused to answer it saying "we wish to state that the details sought by are in the nature of Unpublished Price Sensitive information which will be disclosed at the appropriate time through the stock exchange. "

After reading MPL previous annual reports, we could understand that the limited capacity of Propylene oxide (36000 MT) was affecting the margins & though the derivative plants of PG and polyol have capability to process 60K MT of 'PO' per annum, the company can produce only 36K MT.
Efforts have been taken to overcome the supply constraint of 'PO' by setting up import terminal at Ennore port.
Recently, MPL is increasing its capacity to produce polyols from the current 50K TPA to 150K TPA using an innovative technical process to produce additional Propylene Oxide(PO).

    1) What will be the new capacity of 'PO' after expansion which currently stands at 36K MT?
    2) Incremental turnover will be 280-300 Cr with every additional phase. Can we expect the Sales for FY16 to be 1000 Cr approx.?
    3) How much improvement in margin do you expect after increase in 'PO' capacity
    4) As MPL is increasing its capacity , Are you expecting enough demand in domestic & export markets to supply all the produced product ?
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please let me know whether we can ask these questions or not. Is secretary trying to avoid my questions ?

Please let me know if you have answer to any of these questions. Is Manali a good buy for 1 -2 yr ? how much appreciation(approx.) can we see in stock price ?

Do you meet management to understand there future plans before buying any stock?

Sorry for putting many questions at 1 time..

    1. It is good stock for long term with limited return. It don't have specific data for above question. Simply even after doubling the capacity it will not make much difference on EPS or dividend.

  63. Hi mam,

If DTIL use their maximum production capacity with the existing facilities available how much sales should they achieve? please share your view on Dhunsery investment becuse their main income is divident from DPL and DTIL. last declared Divident from these companies will reflect in the next quarter and the coming EPS also will be very good. Recent EPS of Dhunseri Investment is 37 and PE ratio is only 4.52. please advice.

Simple question for you Why DIL has given only 15% dividend same time DTIL has given 75%? Due to this reason I am not tracking it.

  64. Dolly ji, your view on Richa Industries please......Q1 turnover and NP seem to be impressive on YOY basis ! Can I consider it for investment at prevailing low price for one year time horizon?

    ReplyDelete

    1. In stock market results are compared YoY bases. One year is very short period to judge the performance of any growing company. Always plan for 2 -3 years, if you get your desired return in between than you exit early.

    2. Mam, I have compared the turnover as well as NP on YOY basis only. As explained the growth is impressive !

  93. Hi Dolly Mam,

Good evening. What is the expected target for RSWM and how many years shall we hold it?

    According to FY15 financial results,
•Current assets = 753cr and Current Liability = 830. Therefore company has working capital crunch.
    •Revenue FY14 = 2882 and FY15 = 3023. Growth = 4.8%.
    •Net Profit FY14 = 98cr and FY15 = 85. Growth = Negative 13%
    •Long term borrowings = 669cr and Short term borrowing = 447cr

Company can run into debt trap very fast.

Any thoughts if it's still a good buy considering above facts? Please suggest.

Thanks for the help as always.

All stocks form this real estate sector are trading at decent valuation. Prefer any company with low debt, buy in small quantities and add in each dip . Real estate sector will take some more time ( 6 -12 months) to recover.
