Results Update Q3

Kothari Petro, Waterbase, JK Agri, Chemfab, Xpro has posted poor results with drop in top and bottom line. These companies suffered due to weak demand and severe rain and flood during Q3 in southern states.

Technocraft, DTIL, Donear, Surana Solar, Pondy Oxides, Kamdhenu has posted better results with some improvement on top or bottom line. Overall results are good in comparison to their peers and by seeing the weak market conditions.

During Q3, China crisis has resulted oversupply of differents products in the world market and now the situation is improving, it has little effect on Indian companies and Govt. has imposed minimum import price (MIP) duty on steel products to protect Indian companies from cheap oversupply.

No change in fundamental of any company and stock price fluctuation is based on weak market sentiments due to NPA and provision issue related to banking sector. Hopefully market will reverse the trend with coming budget and all stocks will regain its value. Oil prices still hovering around 30 $/b and it is big positive for Indian economy.

Several new investors are facing first time this type of situation and disappointment is visible in comments and emails. Below story of Japan gives enough reason to see our market in positive way.

Event

On Friday 11 March 2011, earthquake and tsunami hit the Japan. There was huge destruction everywhere and more than million buildings damaged, 20000 people died, 100000 injured, most of the roads and railways tracks damaged, more than million cars washed away, several ships washed on land area, radioactive fluid leakage from Daiichi nuclear power plant, several buildings caught fire and many uncounted damages left behind. It was the biggest destruction after atomic bomb attack on the Japanese city of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

After Tsunami all world media were showing very negative reports about Japan economy and forecasting 8 -10 years to come back at same position.

Results

No Japanese citizens migrated from the country due to fear of another Tsunami in future.
Toyota regain its position of top car manufacturer in the world.
Within year every damage repaired and rebuild.
Japan economy become more stronger than ever.

Action

They achieved their targets with persistent effort and determination. It is not achieved by great talent but by great will power.

Our market in context to above story

Current Indian economic conditions are the best in the history of Indian stock market and it is just beginning. Recent floods and weak Q3 results, market correction due to fear of banking NPA cleanup, Chinese economy meltdown are small issues but media has expanded it big enough to create panic selloff by small investors. They sold the shares as if market is never going to change the negative trend.

  6. Technocraft can give good return during year end results in May, Q1 is best for aquaculture / Agri / Pesticide stock like Waterbase, Avanti, Kaveri, JK Agri and Insecticide. You can keep Donear, Surana Solar and Kamdhenu for long term without any shuffling.

Not tracking Suzlon, Rinfra, SBI, Vedanta & Sun pharma but above mentioned stocks are much better option than these stocks.

Buy early at lower price is the best investment strategy. Those who invested 2-3 year before below 300 can wait another 3 years for 10 -15 % gain or loss but it will be difficult for person who entered at 3000.

    1. US companies like First Solar, Sun Power, Sun Edition are bidding in India for solar power development project. Even though their panels are higher in cost but they rely on their products. Because interest rates are very low in US and they are ready for big investment with annual return of 2-3%. They are looking for grid connected big projects over 100 MW. In India 50 % allocation for roof top project, street lighting, solar pumps and in this segment indian companies dominate because of low risk and low investment.

WTO verdict may affect Indian project developers like NTPC, TATA Solar, Adani but it will not have any impact on small manufacturer.

Its seems company was desperate to do buyback without looking at price which is hurting now the stock price. 82. DEAR MADAM

WHAT IMPACT ON SURANA SOLAR BELOW ANNOUNCEMENT.

Finance minister Arun Jaitley has allocated Rs 5036 crore for the renewable energy sector in Budget 2016. The finance minister in Budget 2015-16 had revised the target of renewable energy capacity to 1,75,000 MW till 2022, comprising 1,00,000 MW solar, 60,000 MW wind, 10,000 MW biomass and 5,000 MW small hydro. As on December 31,2015, cumulative capacity of about 38,820 MW off grid-interactive renewable energy capacity has been installed in the country which includes 25,088 MW from wind power, 4,878 MW from solar power, 4,177 MW from small hydro power and 4,677 MW from bio-power. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Joint Secretary Tarun Kapoor had recently said that while the one lakh MW target is ambitious, it's achievable. "By March end we will be around 6,500 MW and by March 2017 we will have 20,000 MW capacity," he had said. The government also said installed capacity of solar power crossed 5,000 MW in January. Considering the tall target, the industry was expecting tax incentives and financial support to make 'solar' an attractive and viable option. The renewable energy ministry had also sought over Rs 10,000 crore as increased budgetary allocation to meet this ambitious target. By way of incentive, Jaitley has reduced excise duty on carbon pultrusions used for manufacture of rotor blades, and intermediates, parts and sub-parts of rotor blades for wind operated electricity generators, to 6 percent from 12.5 percent. At the same time, excise duty on unsaturated polyester resin (polyester-based infusion resin and hand layup resin), hardeners/hardener for adhesive resin, vinyl easter adhesive (VEA) and epoxy resin used for manufacture of rotor blades, and intermediates, parts and sub-parts of rotor blades for wind-operated electricity generators being increased to 6 percent from nil.

  88. Madam,your opinion abt:
    1. When you invest in stock, do you see only the future prospects. Wht if stock is very ubdervalued say 4-5pe debt free and stable business(means less increase in eps)- do you like these businesses?
    2. Related to point 1- As we say pe reflects the change in eps. So why do we not take other intrinsic parameters as in even if the change in eps is less but pe might be more because of zero debt and cash in hand?so is it right to say tht change in eps would give pe?
    2. Your opinion abt CARE- as its also a rating business just like crisil trading a much cheaper valuation thn crisil.has a high roe, profit margins etc.
