Update on GST Bill, TCI XPS and Next Stock

Dear Readers,

Finally we have seen some positive development in GST bill and demerger of TCI XPS. We have also seen sharp rally in some of the stocks like TIIL, TCI, Chemfab Alkalis, Waterbase, POCL, Surana Solar and your patience start rewarding now.

We have received several comments from new readers that they want to enter at higher price in several stocks for long term and short term. It is very simple calculation, any fresh entry at 50 -100% higher price will reduce the final gain in same  percentage. For example if someone has bought TCI around 250 -270 than he will get XPS almost free of cost but who is entering at 370 should not expect same return. Record date of TCI XPS demerger will be announced within next few weeks.

There are lot of speculation about GST bill and it is now very near to become reality. It is must for growth of Indian economy and it will be definitely rolled out sooner or later. We should not worry about GST for short term because we   have selected specific stocks which are able to perform without GST rollout.

Monsoon distribution and rainfall across the country is going good and above the average in July. Agri sector stocks are expected to perform better in this year.

  11. Namaste Dolly Ji, Hope you are doing dood.
I concentrated my portfolio with 6 stocks (waterbase, tci, tiil, dtil,ABFRL, SURANA) of 25% each and overall it is up by 10%. So my question is about the monthly money i get and what is the best way to invest it. I see following options.
    1. Increase allocation to same 6 stocks every month but this would result in high entry price eventually
    2. Add new stock every month but there could be many stocks over time
    3. Add on dips for same stocks seems fine but there may not be a chance every month to get at least one of the 4 stocks under correction. What if all of them gone up say in next 6 months?
Considering that i am a long term (5 to 10 years) investor with monthly income to invest, what would be the best option?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You can continue to add existing stocks until available at lower price.

If all are gone up than keep the money in bank, once or twice in year market will give opportunity to enter in good stocks at lower price.

    2. For SIP Investors it is MUST to not panick in case of correction and if possible double this SIP amount. This way one can have more stocks in same amount. Now a days SIPs are available to be added for stocks also in various trading accounts for 3-6 months.

  101. Dear Dolly ji,with the passage of GST,i understand branded clothing is all set to become more expensive-what would the impact be on ABFRL.pls enlighten.

With regards to the textile industry,is there any concrete plan envisioned by the govt that you can let us know. There seems to be immense scope for the next couple of years in terms of contribution to the export market which is still a very small figure.
