  22. I loved the concept:
There are four yugas widely accepted in Hinduism. They are :
    1. Satya yug
    2. Treta yug (Ramayana)
    3. Dwapara yug(Mahabharata)
    4. Kal yug(Present)

In Satya yug, the fight was between two worlds (Devalok & Asuralok). Asuralok being the evil, was a different WORLD.

In Treta yug, the fight was between Rama and Ravana. Both rulers from two different COUNTRIES.

In Dwapara yug, the fight was between Pandavas and Kauravas. Both good and evil from the SAME FAMILY.

Kindly note how the evil is getting closer. For example, from a DIFFERENT WORLD to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY to the SAME FAMILY.

Now, know where is the evil in Kaliyug???

It is inside us. Both GOOD AND EVIL LIVE WITHIN. The battle is within us. Who will we give victory to, our inner goodness or the evil within??

Think, identify and fight. 👍Happy Dusehra

  24. Omkar chemicals have applied for several parents. One patent was approved a year back. What happened to the remaining patents. How much time does it take for patents approval. Also promoters have pledged more shares. In order to understand pledge they will sell more of omkar and Lasa which will bring down promoter holding. Is that a matter of concern as far as stock price is concerned.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Generally 2-4 years required from initiation to get final approval for patents. You can continue to hold both stock for 3 -4 years with option to book profit from 100 -300%.

If you have bought near suggested price than low promoter shareholding is not any matter of concern.

  32. Mam your views if Housing Finance sector could be the next market leader ?Now Even Piramal Enterprises has entered into it expecting their loan book to be 15,000 crore by 2020.Some stocks like Can Fin has doubled every year for the past 4 years.
Do you have any recommendation from this sector ? Dewan Housing Finance Corp any views on it ?
If not please have a look at this sector

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Most of the Housing Finance sector stocks are already gone up around 100% in last 5 -6 months so again expecting 100% without any much improvement in results is false hope. Housing Finance sector is having good growth potential and we can expect around 20% return, which is quite reasonable if it get compounded for long term.

  33. Mam one more thing I observed as we need to see the future demand of a company so I was wondering that Starbucks which has so many stores in US has only 97 stores in India.
If starbucks increase its store like they have done so in other countries could result in huge wealth for shareholders so do you have any idea about Tata Global Beverages or could it be multibagger in some years

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Some facts

Indian don't like black tea or black coffee (without milk),
In India people visit Starbucks not because of taste but due status symbol and it is just opposite to EU or US
Tata Global Beverages is getting small portion of profit because operating cost of Starbucks chain is high

  78. Hi Ma'am firstly I would like to thank you for tkaing out the time and effort to help retail investors not only via the blog but also by staying so so active in the comments section. I just have a few questions on the valuation of Orient.
Paper business will do roughly 25Cr at a PE of 10-12 we get a 300cr valuation. We cannot value cross holdings and land because mgmt. wont monetise them for the forseeable future.
So paper business will command a valuation of 300cr best case.
Electrical business cannot command more than 1x sales due to debt and low OPM. Havells and CG have almost double the OPM and almost zero debt. (since group has decided to split the debt and not hold it in the paper entity)So taking into account all this Orient can claim a 1x sales multiple. that is around 1500cr best case scenario.
Add the two we get around 1500cr+300cr=1800cr is fair value for the business. We have bought in at around 2000cr. Please do throw some light on this issue as Im considering an exit.
Even if Orient electrical expands margins slowly through improved product portfolio the intrest payment on the huge debt will destroy the pat margin. Please throw some light on this issue asap thank you ma'am looking forward to the next stock idea.

      3) Why Orient Electric can not trade 3x sales multiple by seeing the strength of its brand name, better than CG and Havells ?

      4) It is has very small debt as compared to CG

  100. Dear Mam,

I have invested in Chemfab Alkalis 2 years ago. However, I am not able to sell those shares now as there is amalgamation between the company and Teamec Chlorates.

I have also not received any shares of Teamec Cholrates in my Demat account. Is my invested money safe ?
