  7. Respected sir,

Happy Holi to you and your family.

    I have Ganesh Housing @ average 59.

I have find that real estate is reviving since last 6 months and may continue revival for next 2/3 years.

Obviously it will revive Ganesha. May I continue to hold for another 2/3 years on my risk? Is this advisable? I beg your advice. Please suggest.

    Thank you sir in advance.

    Regards,
    Raxit Shah

    1. Stock has not performed well in last 3 years due to slump in housing and construction sector. We did not find any major change in this sector in next two three quarters.

      Option-1

Ganesh housing is trading near to your average buying price and it is giving good opportunity to exit on time and reinvest in some other good stock where there is no such uncertainty.

      Option-2

It is going to complete 3 year in the next month and new stock will be also posted in next month. For your satisfaction you can invest 50% of the amount in next stock and keep remaining 50% in the Ganesh housing, it will mitigate the partial risk on your investment.

Same time this process will test our investment strategy that why we go for reinvestmant after waiting for three years in case of non performance of any stock?.

  19. Mam tpl seems to be big beneficiary as economy improving, can we expect good results in Q4 and if result is good should we keep it till it completes 3 years or should we reinvest now

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We are giving reasonable time of three-years to perform but if any stock unable to give desired return in given time frame than we must take the decision on time. TPL is going to complete 3 year in the month of August. Still you have 4 month time to execute your plan to sell it.

  30. Hello Madam, Thank you for all your advises, especially the blog on on which one to hold and which one to exit. I have been following only your blogs ! I was able to come out of KCP, Nitin, Kesoram and PENIND with much bigger losses. However these were compensated by other stocks and were deliberately sold to minimise LTCG.I am planning to keep some money for your next recommendation in April. Should I hold the remaining money or any other stocks that you recommend to re-invest?

    Happy Financial New Year..
In ur view, it is just a 3 yrs time for the scrip to perform or outperform...if at all the scrips returns back to its recommended price from its all time low, it is advisable to hold for better returns or to simply swap with no loss no gain...Need to take a call on TPL & NITIN SPINNERS...I got back the price but couldn't decide upon it.. please give me a clarity on it
    Best regards
    VST

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 1) If any script has given 100% return within 3 years and after booking the partial profit, only free of cost share left with us that we can continue to hold for long term.

      2) In other case like Nitin spinner where the script has not given us the desired return and we have waited for three years, now we have to take the decision to exit and reinvest.
No need to get emotionally attached with any stocks but need to take the decision professionally

    2. Thanks for your reply Madam
