Update on TCI XPS Demerger

Dear Readers,

We have received several comments seeking clarity about record date of TCI XPS demerger.

The scheme of demerger has been approved unanimously by shareholders and unsecured creditors of the company at the Court Convened Meeting  held on March 19, 2016. Record date of demerger will be announced soon after getting approved copy of court verdict based on result report of Court Convened Meeting.

Company has to file all documents to NSE and BSE as mentioned in observation letter to get the TCI XPS listed on stock exchanges.

 http://www.tcil.com/tcil/pdf/NSE_Observation%20Letter.pdf

  • Copy of Scheme as approved by the High Court.
  • Result of voting by shareholders for approving the Scheme.
  • Statement explaining changes, if any, and reasons for such changes carried out in the approved Scheme from the Draft Scheme.
  • Status of compliance with the Observation Letter/s of the stock exchanges.
  • The application seeking exemption from Rule 19(2)(b) of SCRR, 1957, wherever applicable.
  • Complaints Report as per Annexure II of SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/DIL/5/2013 dated February 4, 2013.

All process going as per schedule and hopefully TCI XPS will get listed in the month of May.

Some comments received about the valuation of TCI XPS. The company management is also very optimistic about valuation and business growth of TCI XPS. In the below link management has given clear guidelines about valuation and business.

  8. Madam, It seems you like TCI XPS as it in e commerce business and growing very fast, For a person with limited capital would it be better to buy TCI XPS after the demerger as then i will be able to pick more shares?
    Thanks

    1. It is not in e commerce business but in courier business and sooner or later it should trade at similar P/E to its peers around 50.

If anyone wants this stock free of cost than need to buy it before demerger.

Clarification about bleow news, aleready you told, but my doubt is which is the best way to maintain portfolio either concentrated(4 or 5)/diversified(10 stocks).
If we have 4 or 5 good stocks, we can average during market corrections, but its difficult if we have more stocks in our portfolio,we need good amount of money in our hand to average it.your view mam. thanks in advance.

  43. Hello mam,

just would like to know why few stocks like MRF,BOSCH,EICHER,PAGE are trading at very high value where as the IT Stocks for example TCS INFY have more profit than the above companies trading only @ few thousand. is it that all high stock value companies did not split their stocks and continuing with same equity base from inception is the reason? does any picks in our blog has this kind of potential to trade in five digits in future.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It depend upon number of shares and EPS. TCS and INFY has given bonus shares and split of FV to increase the liquidity. MRF,BOSCH,EICHER and PAGE were trading in three digit 10 -12 years back but no one has predicted that these stocks will trade in 5 digit. JK Agri, DTIL have similar potential in 10 -15 years

could you please let us know how these two will turn out to NDL in future, considering its huge debt is it worth holding for long term.

    1. Debt has taken for capacity expansion and growth is visible in results. Company servicing the debt timely and paying good dividend. Allotment of 25L convertible warrants to Polus Global Fund is to raise the fund for phase II expansion without raising debt.

Overall company will lead the denim segment and create wealth for long term investors.

I have a general query. Why there is huge difference in industry pe? for example industry pe of steel sector is very low where as it is very high for logistics?

What is the reason behind this?

  105. Thanks madam for the reply. Sorry if I did not ask my question correctly. What I would like to know why the average industry PE is higher for some sectors and why it is low for some sectors.

In other words why people are ready to buy the stocks with higher PE ? Are there other parameters like high entrant business, niche business etc.
